Participation in Windlider 2015 Project

MS Enertech participates in this landmark poject, sponsored by CDTI under the Cenit Program. The objective is to ready the technologies and solutions required for designing, installing and operating the wind turbines of the next generation.
Windlider 2015 will produce the first model of its kind for the comprehensive simulation of a large wind turbine, reproducing its performance in conjunction with the wind, the terrain and the power grid. The model will be validated and fine-tuned by testing complete wind turbines and critical components (generators, gear-boxes, converters, housing, yaw system, etc.) with power outputs of 5 MW. This will allow for extrapolating their performance to outputs exceeding 10 MW.
The only participant from the Spanish Castilla & Leon region (one of the most important in terms of wind energy installed power), we contribute our knowledge in the areas of civil engineering and assembly engineering, marshaling the efforts of specialist companies and the University.

Collaboration with Hydrosolar 21 Project

HydroSolar 21 is a R&D project being developed in Burgos, under the overall management is of the Association for the Strategic Plan of Burgos. A number of institutions and a number of Burgos University researches collaborate in the project. The objectives are:
- the production and storage of electricity using hydrogen.
- to demonstrate innovative cooling systems powered by solar thermal energy.
- this 100 Kw system will use only renewable energies and clean components

MS Enertech, whose offices are located at CEEI Burgos (where the implementation of Hydrosolar 21 will take place) collaborates in this project by contributing free of charge its knowledge in the field of renewable energies.

Civil Engineering for Future Wind Farms

Scale comes with a price when dealing with ever-growing wind turbine sizes.
For on-shore wind farms, going beyond the current standard of 1,5-2 Mw wind turbines poses important challenges regarding logistics, installation and costs of the civil engineering works.
For the nascent segment of off-shore wind farms, these challenges are even bigger, if very different in nature. In any case, the relative importance of civil engineering grows dramatically for this kind of systems, considered by many as the future of wind energy.
MS Enertech leverages its knowledge in the area of civil engineering in finding and fielding more cost efficient civil engineering solutions for the future wind farms.

System Concepts for Autonomous Electricity Generation using Renewable Energy

At MS Enertech, we work hard and enthusiastically to prepare the future.
One of the areas we see as the future development is the decentralized generation and consumption of electric energy, a paradigm shift from the current scheme of centralized production + distribution network prevailing from T.A. Edison times.
With this in mind, we run continuing R&D projects looking for new concepts, architectures and specific technical solutions, looking for integration of renewable energies in the efficient generation of electric energy.
